מה זה חידון התנ״ך?

חידון התנ״ך הוא משחק טריוויה דיגיטלי בהשראת פורמט "מי רוצה להיות מיליונר", סביב סיפורי התנ״ך, דמויותיו, מצוות, חגים ומועדים. המטרה היא ללמוד את התנ״ך בדרך משחקית, מכבדת ומהנה — למשפחות, תלמידים, מורים ולכל מי שאוהב ידע. המשחק זמין בדפדפן (Web/PWA) ובאפליקציות, ואינו מחליף לימוד מקור, סידור, מחזור או פסיקה הלכתית.

מצבי המשחק

מצב יחיד (קלאסי): משחקים בקצב אישי ומתקדמים בשאלות לפי רמת קושי.
אתגר יומי: סבב שאלות חדש בכל יום לשמירה על רצף לימוד.
מצב לימוד: תרגול ממוקד עם חזרה על טעויות והסברים.
משחק ראש־בראש וטורנירים: תחרות אונליין מול שחקנים אחרים.

חינמי ודו־לשוני

המשחק חינמי לשימוש, וזמין בעברית ובאנגלית. אפשר לעבור בין השפות, כך שהוא מתאים גם לקהל דובר עברית וגם לקהל דובר אנגלית ברחבי העולם.

המתודולוגיה העריכתית

שאלות החידון וטקסטי החגים נכתבים כתוכן מקורי על בסיס מקורות תנ״כיים ועיוניים מוכרים, ועוברים בדיקה לפני פרסום. אנו מקפידים על אימות תוכני מול מקורות גלויים — בהם פסוקי התנ״ך עצמם וספריות לימוד פתוחות — ושומרים על הפרדה בין הסבר חינוכי מקורי ובין נוסחי תפילה, ברכות, ניקוד ותרגומים, שדורשים בדיקת מקור, נוסח ורישוי לפני שילובם כטקסט רשמי. מטרת התהליך היא דיוק, כבוד למקורות ושמירה על זכויות יוצרים.

What is Bible Quiz?

Bible Quiz is a digital trivia game inspired by the "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" format, covering Bible stories, characters, commandments, holidays and festivals. Its goal is to make learning the Bible engaging, respectful and fun — for families, students, teachers and anyone who loves knowledge. It is available in the browser (Web/PWA) and as apps, and is not a substitute for studying primary sources or for halachic guidance.

Game modes

Solo (classic): play at your own pace through graded questions.
Daily challenge: a fresh question set every day to keep a learning streak.
Learning mode: focused practice with mistake review and explanations.
Head-to-head & tournaments: online competition against other players.

Free and bilingual

The game is free to play and available in both Hebrew and English, with a language switch, so it suits Hebrew- and English-speaking audiences alike.

Editorial methodology

Quiz questions and holiday texts are written as original content based on recognized biblical and study sources, and are reviewed before publication. We verify content against openly available sources — including the biblical text itself and open study libraries — and we keep a clear separation between original educational explanation and full liturgical wording, blessings, vocalization and translations, which require source, version and licensing review before being included as official text. The aim is accuracy, respect for sources, and copyright compliance. We correct errors when they are found.

Important clarification

Bible Quiz is an independent digital game. It is not the official Israeli national/world Bible Contest (Chidon HaTanach), and it is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any government or official body. Any similarity in name or subject is thematic only; the site exists for learning and enjoyment around the Bible.
